"We were positively surprised by Normandy and La Buissonnière! Never been there before, and no idea what we would find. The landscape is anything but flat, so very suitable for challenging bike rides. We had our racing bikes with us. The cottage is really fully equipped. and located on a cul-de-sac, so quiet and lots of privacy. Good supermarket at +/- 4 km. Mont St. Michel is easy to drive to, and highly recommended. Fougères and Laval are also great cities to visit. Super friendly owners, who live in the other part of the house, but who don't bother you but were very open to questions and tips. Two cats, Grommit and Wallace, who especially liked us a lot when we went for a drink. But they stayed with us, even when they didn't get anything. The chickens also happily popped in every now and then. In short, we had a wonderful week at La Buissonnière. Thank you for your hospitality!"

"We spent 2 weeks in this wonderful gite this summer. A magnificent house with beautiful nature, animals, peace and quiet ! Just wow ! Lovely relaxing in the peace and besides that a place to visit many beautiful places. The owners are super friendly, have good tips and advice and you receive delicious eggs from the chickens in the yard! Highly recommended, we would love to come back here again !!! "

“A relaxing week in beautiful Normandy, just far enough from the hustle & bustle to be accessible and easy for days out, but pitch dark at night and gloriously quiet. We were made to feel very welcome, but our space wasn’t imposed upon (this has happened elsewhere!). Nicely equipped cottage with good practical outdoor space. Recommended day trips to: Mont St Michel, Granville, Falaise - all no more than 90 mins drive and all offering a few hours wandering and a good lunch. Good luck here, you have found a beautiful slice of Normandie. If we hadn’t already booked our September holiday, we’d be back again this year…..”
